Bloodletter x Femme Filth Fest: Taboo Film Night

Bloodletter Magazine and Femme Film Fest partnered on Taboo Film Night, a one-night showcase of women-led films that reject the status quo. The sold-out screening was held at the Marilyn Monroe Theatre in Los Angeles, and featured eight films including: Micro-Short by Beth Fletcher, Descension by Valery Garcia, Eternal Inferno by Alexandra Velasco, Consume by Aliyah Knight, BELLY BELLY by Gabriel Carnick, Praying Mantis by Mackenzie Breeden, A Fermenting Woman by Maisie Jacobson, and Ashley Bones: The Bimbo Cannibal by Julia Rome and Liv Bennett.

Guest judge Heidi Honeycutt, co-founder of Etheria Film Night and the author of I Spit on Your Celluloid: The History of Women Directing Horror Movies, presented the Best of Fest award to Praying Mantis director Mackenzie Breeden and writer Riley Scott.
